Illegal arms and ammunition seized by Jhinjhinyali Police

Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Based on information from the Jodhpur Range Cyclone Cell, the Jhinjhinyali Police Station team in Jaisalmer arrested an accused. They recovered a large quantity of illegal weapons and weapon repair equipment from his possession.

The arrested accused, Khet Singh Rajput, resides in Sajeeto Ki Dhani Tejmalata within the Jhinjhinyali police jurisdiction.

Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary stated that the Jodhpur Range Cyclone Cell had previously arrested Lal Singh alias LunSingh, a resident of Jogidas village within the Jhinjhinyali police jurisdiction. Lal Singh was wanted for murder, attempted murder, robbery, kidnapping, and other serious offenses.

During interrogation, Lal Singh revealed the supply of arms, ammunition, explosives, and weapon repair equipment in the area of Jhinjhinyali police station. Based on this information, the police team detained Khet Singh Rajput. Police recovered a 12-bore gun, a caped gun, 637 live cartridges, 440 empty cartridges, 560 grams of explosives, and arms repairing material from the accused.
