In Jammu and Kashmir, the Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) is on in and around Shaistar forest area of frontier district Poonch, which was launched immediately after terrorists ambushed a convoy of Indian Air Force (IAF) vehicles on May 4th. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that surveillance in and around deep forest stretches was intensified though no fresh contact with terrorists was established. Several people were also detained by security forces in connection with investigation of the case. Their questioning is still going on.
Meanwhile, security forces yesterday released sketches of two terrorists responsible for the attack and an award of 20 lakh rupees has been announced for any information about them. Anyone who will give fruitful and reliable information about the whereabouts of these terrorists leading to their arrest, will be rewarded and his/her identity will be kept secret. The officials have also provided four mobile numbers on which people can contact and share information. The numbers are 9541051982, 8082294375, 9541051982, and 8082294375.
