Ambassador Of Japan To India, Hiroshi Suzuki To Reach Kohima, Nagaland

Ambassador of Japan to India, Hiroshi Suzuki will reach Nagaland Capital Kohima today a two-day visit to the state. This will be his third visit to the state.

Following his arrival in Kohima, a cultural event will be hosted in honour of the Japanese Ambassador this evening at the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex Kohima.

Accompanied by a delegation of four members, the Japanese Ambassador will participate in the soft inauguration of the Kohima Peace Memorial and Eco Park, Kohima tomorrow. This will include laying the foundation stone and a ceremonial plantation in the morning.

Ambassador Suzuki will also visit the Kohima War Cemetery, where he will lay wreaths along with Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
 

Later in the day, Mr. Suzuki and other Japanese delegates will visit the Kohima Cathedral and World War II Museum at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
 

The visit is expected to further strengthen the cultural and diplomatic ties between Japan and Nagaland.
