In IPL Cricket, Rajasthan Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by seven wickets at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow last night. Chasing a target of 197 runs set by Lucknow, Rajasthan Royals scored 199 for 3 in 18.5 overs. Skipper Sanju Samson was the top scorer for Rajasthan, who remained unbeaten at 71 runs. Dhruv Jurel made 52 runs.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl. Put into bat, Lucknow posted 196 for five in the stipulated 20 overs. Skipper KL Rahul was the top scorer for Lucknow with 76 runs followed by Deepak Hooda with the knock of 50 runs.
Sanju Samson was declared the Player of the match.
Today, Gujarat Titans will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match will start at 3.30 PM. In another match, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The match is scheduled to begin at 7.30 PM.
