NTA Conducts National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test

National Testing Agency, NTA conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, NEET. Over 24 lakh students were eligible for the exam. It was conducted at different centres across five hundred 57 Cities throughout the country and 14 cities outside India.

NTA said, at one of the exam centre in Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan there was incorrect distribution of question papers and by the time the invigilator could correct the mistake, some candidates left the center with question papers. The NTA said, apart from the incident, the NEET (UG) 2024 examination conducted smoothly and peacefully at all other examination centers across the country. It emphasized that this incident has not compromised the integrity of the examination process at other centers. NTA said, the examination of approximately 120 affected candidates from the center in Rajasthan was conducted today itself to ensure that their academic aspirations are not affected due to this incident. It also assured its commitment to conducting examinations with transparency, integrity and fairness.
