Senior BJP leader and BJP national president, Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized that a strong government has set new benchmarks for development over the past 10 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He addressed at Fatehpur and the historic Chaugan Ground in Chamba under the Kangra parliamentary seat, urging people to vote for the party’s candidate. Nadda accused the Congress party of promoting nepotism and claimed that opposition parties formed the INDI alliance solely for their own selfish interests. He stated that the opposition lacks a coherent agenda and that all opposition parties are currently leaderless and devoid of policies.
Nadda emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, a strong government has set new benchmarks for development over the past 10 years. He highlighted the extensive network of roads laid in Himachal Pradesh with the help of the Modi government. He also mentioned welfare schemes like the Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ayushman Bharat, and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, benefiting millions across the country. Mr. Nadda called on voters to elect BJP candidate with a significant majority. He asserted that under Modi’s leadership, India has transitioned from being a nation that seeks aid to one that provides assistance. According to NITI Aayog, over 250 million people have risen above the poverty line in recent years, reflecting the changing image of India.
Later, Mr. Nadda addressed another rally in Kunihar under the Arki assembly segment of the Shimla parliamentary seat. He remarked that Prime Minister Modi has transformed the political culture of the country, leading to politics centered on development. He stated that the Modi government has ensured the development of women, the poor, the oppressed, and backward classes.
