With Mumbai all set to vote in the fifth phase of the General Elections 2024, Mumbai Collector and District Electoral Officer Sanjay Yadav has urged Mumbaikars to cast their vote. Elaborating on the various facilities provided by the EC to encourage more and more voters to participate in the voting process, the District Electoral Office ensured that all polling stations are located on the ground floor. The DEO also provided essential facilities, including water and toilets. Polling stations will have separate lines for women, men, senior citizens, and voters with disabilities. The DEO has implemented a vote-from-home facility for those who cannot visit polling stations due to age or other reasons.
