Tripura Govt Decides To Close All Schools Due To  Heatwave Conditions

In Tripura, prevailing heatwave conditions, the state government has decided to close all the schools for next four days.
 
 

According to a press statement issued by Education (School) Secretary, N.C. Sharma, all government,  government aided, schools under TTAADC and privately managed schools will remain closed from April 24-27 in the state.

 
 
 

In another, press communique, the state revenue department has said that the medical fraternity has asked people to avoid exposure to the blazing sun and heat which might in worst case lead to sun strokes.

 
 

 

The district administrations have been advised to activate the emergency operation centres, keep alerting the quick response teams and resources, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to all areas and taking support from other key agencies.
