Key Asian stocks ended higher today except China’s Shanghai Composite index which ended 0.70 percent down. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index soared 1.74 percent, Singapore’s Straits Times index jumped 1.50 percent, South Korea’s Kospi rose 1.43 percent and Japan’s Nikkei-225 added 0.99 percent.
All major European markets were also trading higher. London’s FTSE was trading 1.46 percent higher, Germany’s DAX was 0.65 percent up and France’s CAC was 0.28 percent up when reports last came in.
