In Telangana, electoring reaches its peak in the state with only a day left for the campaigning for the Monday polling. Top leaders of all major parties are making a bee line seeking support from the electors for their candidates.

The Prime Minister and Senior BJP Leader, Narendra Modi will be addressing two rallies at Narayanpet and Hyderabad today. The meeting to be held this evening at LB Stadium in Hyderabad will be the last poll rally of Mr Modi in Telangana.

Earlier, Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP and its rallies are trying to undermine the Constitution. He made it clear that the Congress, with the support of people of the country, will protect the Constitution at any cost. Addressing two public meetings at Saroornagar in Hyderabad and Narsapur in Medak districts last evening, Mr. Gandhi emphasised on the ‘resilience’ of the Indian Constitution. He said it cannot be harmed by any force in the world. He reiterated his party’s commitment, with the support of all sections of the society, to defend the Constitution unequivocally. He travelled in a state-owned public transport city bus along with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and distributed Panch Nyay pamphlets of the Congress.

BJP’s Rajya Sabha member and national OBC morcha president K. Laxman has alleged the Congress of trying to divide the nation based on religion, caste and language. Addressing the media in Hyderabad he said this is nothing new for the party as it has been resorting to these divisive tactics for many years.
