Heatwave To Prevail For Next Three Days In Gujarat: IMD

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the heatwave will remain for the next three days in Gujarat. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 45 degrees Celsius in Amreli, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad and Disa. Heatwave conditions will continue in Saurashtra-Kutch and other districts during the next five days in the state. A red alert has been announced over Ahmedabad and Rajkot for five days, orange alert for Banas Kantha, Patan, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Anand, Surat, Valsad, Surendra Nagar, Bhavnagar, Junagadh and Porbandar districts.
