Mamata Banerjee Speaks At Malda Uttar, Opposes CAA, NRC, And Uniform Civil Code

In West Bengal, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee addressed a public meeting in Malda Uttar Lok Sabha constituency in support of her party’s candidate. She said that CAA, NRC and Uniform Civil Code will not be implemented in West Bengal and if these are implemented, minorities and tribals will be left with no other option but to go into detention camps and give away their rights.   
 
She said only her government has looked after the needs of all people including minorities and tribals. Mamata said central government is not giving fund for Awas Yojana and MGNREGA for West Bengal. She informed the gathering that her government will give houses and jobs and she will no longer wait for central funds.
