Ladakh Launches ‘Vote From Home’ Initiative For Senior Citizens And PwDs In Lok Sabha Election 2024

In Ladakh, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Shrikant Suse, flagged off Polling Teams for the pioneering Vote from Home initiative in Kargil District.
The initiative aims to enable eligible senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to cast their votes from the comfort of their homes during the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024.
By extending this facility to citizens aged above 85 years and PwDs, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has marked a historic milestone in promoting accessible and equitable electoral processes.
