Kerala: Central Police Forces Arrive In Politically Sensitive Kannur District

In Kerala, central police forces belonging to the CRPF, Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Rapid Action Force have arrived in the politically sensitive Kannur district.
 

They are being deployed in several places including areas where the presence of Maoists was reported in the past.
 

Meanwhile, the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee has complained to the Chief Electoral Officer of the State that in seven districts, many officials engaged in poll duty have not received their postal ballots.
