Haryana: NCP State President Files Nomination For Karnal Lok Sabha Seat

In Haryana on the second day of filing nominations the State President of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Maratha Virendra Verma today filed his nomination papers for Karnal Loksabha constituency. NCP is an ally of INDI Alliance and Congress had already announced Divyanshu Budhiraja as its candidate for this Loksabha seat. Mr Verma filed his nomination papers in the presence of Indian National Lok Dal leader Abhay Singh Chautala. After filing the nomination papers he said that Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has extended support to him. Prior to this, he carried a road show in the city.
 
Mr Verma will contest against Congress Candidate Divyanshu Budhiraja and BJP candidate former Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
 
In Rohtak, the candidate of Social Unity Centre of India (Communist) Mr Jaikaran Mandouthi filed his nomination papers whereas in Kurukshetra, two independent candidates Mr Anil and Mr Subhash and Ekam Sanatan Bharat Party candidate Mr Mahavir Singh filed their nomination papers today.
