General Elections 2024: BJP MP From Maharashtra’s Dindori Constituency Dr Bharati Pawar Files Nomination

As the deadline for filing nominations for the fifth phase of General Elections 2024 nears, many candidates filed their nomination papers today.
 

From the ruling NDA, sitting BJP MP from Maharashtra’s Dindori parliamentary constituency Dr. Bharati Pawar filed nomination papers today. The Shiv Sena candidate from Nashik Lok Sabha seat Hemant Godse also filed his nomination. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal, BJP’s Girish Mahajan and Shiv Sena’s Dadaji Bhuse were present to support both candidates.
 

Shiv Sena leader and sitting MP from Kalyan constituency, Shrikant Shinde also filed his nomination in the presence of his whole family, including his father and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Eknath Shinde said all candidates will emerge victorious by record break margins. He said the citizens’ support as seen in the roadshows before filing nominations and the combined efforts of Shiv Sena, BJP, NCP and other alliance partners like MNS, RPI(A), and RSP will ensure Mr. Modi’s return as Prime Minister for the third time in a row.
 

Meanwhile from the opposition, Sena (UBT) candidate Amol Kirtikar filed his papers from the Mumbai North West constituency and Congress candidate Bhushan Patil filed his papers from the Mumbai North constituency.
 

Tomorrow is the last day for filing nominations for the 13 constituencies, including six seats from Mumbai, that will go to polls on 20th May in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls.
