In Chhattisgarh, voting will be held tomorrow in 7 parliamentary constituencies under the third phase of Lok Sabha elections.
 
Polling teams were dispatched yesterday for difficult areas. While, for most of the polling booths, teams will be sent today. All preparations for polling have been completed.
 
The temperature has crossed forty degrees Celsius in many parts of Chhattisgarh. Keeping in mind the scorching heat, medical kits are being given to the polling parties leaving for the polling stations. It contains thirteen essential medicines as well as ORS packets. Besides, all health centres, primary health centers and community health centers have also been alerted for any emergency. Voting in Chhattisgarh will be from 7 am to 6 pm.
 
Meanwhile, an advisory has been issued by the Meteorological Department for voters. It says that elderly voters should vote by 10 am or after 4 pm. Keep drinking liquids to neutralize heat wave. In view of the heat, arrangements for lemonade and drinking water will also be made in many polling stations with the help of private institutions in various districts. Voters above 80 years of age as well as disabled voters will also get the facility of vehicle to travel to and from the polling booth.
