In Chhattisgarh, a security personal died due to accidental firing in Bastar division. Another jawan has been injured in the incident. According to the police officials, on the basis of intelligence inputs about the presence of armed Maoists in Barsoor area of Dantewada district, a joint team of District Reserve Guard and Bastar Fighters had set out on a search operation. A bullet was fired accidentally last night.
Due to which two jawans were injured. One security personal succumbed to the injuries while being taken to the hospital. Whereas, the other injured jawan has been airlifted to Raipur for better treatment.
