In Uttar Pradesh, Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah campaigned today in Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi and Kannauj districts in favour of the Party candidates. He campaigned for Union Minister of state for Home affairs and party candidate from Lakhimpur Kheri Ajay Mishra Teni and appealed to the people that this election is not only for making Narendra Modi third time Prime Minister but also to continue the welfare schemes of Central Government.
Senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of state Yogi Adityanath campaigned in Kanpur, Etah and Shahjahanpur districts.
BJP’s organisational secretary BL Santosh held meetings with party functionaries in Barabanki and Gonda districts.
Congress General secretary Priyanka Gandhi today addressed many Nukkad Sabha or Street meetings in Raebareli for his brother and party candidate Rahul Gandhi. She started her campaign from Bachrawan area of Raibareli. Targeting BJP, she said that the saffron party is misleading people and if her party comes to power then wages of Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and MGNREGA workers will be doubled.
Congress leader and incharge of Uttar Pradesh Avinash Pandey also held meeting with party functionaries in Jalaun district.
Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav today came down heavily on BJP in a rally in Shahjahanpur and said that saffron party does false promises and they want to change constitution. He addressed political rallies in favour of Party candidates in Farrukhabad and Hardoi also. Addressing a rally in Hardoi district Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo supremo Mayawati said that her party is confident that it will win and does not need any support from other parties.
