PM & Senior BJP Leader Narendra Modi To Hold Rallies In Jharkhand & Bihar; BSP Chief Mayawati To Address Public Meeting In UP

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two public rallies at Palamu and Sisai in Gumla district at 11 am and 12.30 pm today in Jharkhand. Mr Modi will campaign for NDA candidates from Palamu BD Ram and Samir Oraon from Lohardaga constituencies, going for polls in the fourth phase of General elections on the 13th of May.
 
This will be the first-ever visit of any Prime Minister to Sisai. Mr Modi is on a two-day visit to Jharkhand to campaign for the elections. Preparations for the Prime Minister’s scheduled visit have been made while security arrangements have been tightened. Prime Minister Modi will today leave for Palamu from Raj Bhavan in Ranchi at 9.30 am. After addressing the public meeting at Palamu and Sisai, he will leave for another rally at Darbhanga in Bihar.
 
Prime Minister and Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi will also address a public meeting today in Bihar. Mr. Modi will address the public meeting at Darbhanga Raj Ground to support BJP candidate Gopaljee Thakur. The election rally is likely to begin around 3 p.m. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in view of the visit of the Prime Minister’s meeting. RJD has fielded senior party leader and sitting MLA Lalit Kumar Yadav from Darbhanga seat. Polling will be held on the 13th of May in the Darbhanga parliamentary constituency in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, along with the Samastipur, Ujiarpur, Munger, and Begusarai segments.
 
Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati will hold a public meeting at Agra in Uttar Pradesh today to support party candidate Pooja Amrohi. The polling on Agra Loksabha Constituency will take place in the third phase on Tuesday. The BJP has fielded sitting MP S P Singh Baghel from this seat, while the Samajwadi Party has given a ticket to Suresh Chand Kardam. Apart from these, eight other candidates are also in the fray. A total of over 17 lakh 57 thousand voters are in this seat. Over nine lakh 85 thousand are male voters and over eight lakh 68 thousand female voters.
