The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced results for Class 10th and 12th today. According to the CISCE, pass percentage for the ICSE (Class 10th) was 99.47 percent while ISC (Class 12th) was 98.19 percent. In the ICSE, girls have outshined the boys with a pass percentage of 99.65 percent while boys achieved a pass percentage of 99.13 percent. In the ISC, girls have achieved a pass percentage of 98.92 percent while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 97.53 percent. In the official statement, CISCE said, more than two lakh 43 thousand candidates appeared in the ICSE while more than 99 thousand candidates in the ISC.
