India’s growth for past 8 years on rising trajectory in growth, economic front: HM Amit Shah

Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah has said that India’s growth for the past eight years has been on the rising trajectory in growth and economic front. Speaking at the Platinum Jubilee of India Cements today in Chennai, he said that India had manufactured a vaccine for COVID-19 and became a forerunner in the health sector at the global level.
 
On the development of the young talents in the Country, he said that efforts should be taken by the State Government to provide professional education like medicine and engineering in the mother language. He urged Tamil medium students to take up higher education and sharpen their skills for the betterment of their future. Acknowledging Tamil as the oldest language, the Home Minister said, India is proud of it.
 
Listing out the various projects to the State, he added that the tax devolution to the State and Central grants had gone up severalfold during the past eight years. The Home Minister also appreciated N. Srinivasan, the Vice Chairman of India Cements and franchisee of Chennai Super Kings for his development initiatives in the social sector.
