In Chhattisgarh, thirty Maoists, nine of them carrying a cumulative reward of 39 lakh rupees on their heads,  have surrendered today in Bijapur district.   It is noteworthy that since January this year till now, one hundred and eighty Maoists have been arrested in Bijapur district.  Meanwhile, seventy-six Maoists have surrendered.
