In Sri Lanka, on the occasion of 163rd Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Ravindranath Tagore, students of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in Colombo performed Rabindra Sangeet today. The students who were all Sri Lankan nationals performed under the guidance of Guru Ashith Attapattu. In addition, the centre also organised a special lecture given by Prof. Sandagomi Coperahewa on Tagore’s interaction with Sri Lanka.
