In Gujarat, the Election Commission has announced the repolling of Parthampur polling station in Santrampur, in Dahod seat today over the irregularity in the polling process. The re-polling will be held on Saturday, the 11th of May, from 7 AM to 6 PM.
Briefing the media in Gandhinagar today, Joint CEO AB Patel said the decision was taken based on the irregularity report filed by the Returning Officer after receiving a complaint over a viral video. He added that six persons including four from the polling staff on duty at Parthampur Polling booth on polling day were suspended.
