Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi attributed the credit for the achievements of the NDA government during the past ten years to the people. He said the vote given to him made the country a defence exporter from a defence importer, and he removed Article 370 from Kashmir. Many such measures were possible only due to public vote. Addressing a public meeting at Vemulawada in Karimnagar Lok Sabha Constituency this morning, Mr. Modi launched a scathing attack on BRS and Congress in Telangana and emphasised the BJP’s commitment to ‘nation first’ policy, comparing it with Congress and BRS’ ‘family first’ approach.

Mr. Modi further said these political parties are like ‘by the family, for the family, of the family’ and corruption and appeasement link them. He alleged that both Congress and BRS are two sides of the same coin, and there is a need to protect Telangana from these parties of corruption and appeasement politics. BRS has broken all the dreams of the people of Telangana, and Congress is also on the same path. The BJP senior leader also remarked on the recently concluded third phase of Lok Sabha elections and alleged that the alliance between Congress and INDI suffered setbacks. Earlier, Mr. Modi offered prayers at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada.
