In Tamil Nadu, the casualty numbers have increased to nine in the cracker factory blast at Chengalapatti, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar district. Another 12 workers including seven women were severely wounded in the incident. The number of fatalities may further increase in the accident.
Police have registered a case against the owner of the factory.
