Prime Minister and Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi today said that the NDA Government is providing opportunities to the youth of the country so that they can dream big in every sector. Addressing a public rally in Pune, Maharashtra Mr. Modi said that the NDA government announced Rs 1 lakh crore corpus to promote technological innovation in sunrise sectors. He added that the NDA Government opened sectors like Space and Defence to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
Addressing a huge gathering in the IT city, Mr. Modi said that India is poised to become a hub for the manufacturing sector, particularly in the sector of electric vehicles, semiconductor manufacturing, and hydrogen-energy sector. Highlighting the contribution of schemes like Start-up India, Mr. Modi mentioned that the country has more than 1 lakh Start-ups and a considerable number among them are in Pune. He also highlighted the huge number of patents being filed in the country adding that the exports and FDI are at a record high.
Speaking about the significant investment in the infrastructure sector by the NDA government in the last ten years, Mr. Modi highlighted various infrastructural projects of the region including the Pune Metro, new Pune Airport, Palkhi Marg, Samruddhi Mahamarg and semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains.
Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadanvis and Ajit Pawar were present on the occasion.
