In Kerala, a young video journalist of the Mathrubhumi TV News Channel, A V Mukesh was killed in a wild elephant attack in the Malampuzha-Kanjikode area in Palakkad district this morning.
The attack occurred when he was trying to take the visuals of a herd of wild elephants trying to cross a river.
He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Two others, who were with him managed to escape.
