A non-profit organization, Krishikalpa has launched India’s first ever accelerator program for the Farmer Producer Organisation in Bengaluru today.
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, NABARD has extended financial support for the initiative. Krishikalpa will transform farmer-producer organizations -(FPOs) into sustainable rural businesses, driving positive change in the agricultural ecosystem.
It will help FPOs to connect with markets and resources. Krishikalpa will also help develop entrepreneurial skills, supply chain management and impart market orientation training for the members of FPOs.
NABARD will pitch in with cost-effective business strategies for bridging critical gaps in the agricultural value chain. This will help FPOs to cope up with risk mitigation, knowledge sharing and incremental revenue growth for farmers.
