Election Commission Bans BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao From Campaigning For 48 Hours Over Derogatory Remarks

In Telangana, top leaders of all major political parties have intensified their electioneering in the state. BJP senior leader and Union Minister Amit Shah held a roadshow in Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency last evening. He campaigned for Hyderabad BJP candidate Madhavi Lata, stating that for the past many years, the inheritors of Rajakars have been representing Hyderabad in parliament and urged people to send BJP candidate this time to Parliament.
 
 

PCC President and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a roadshow in Moosapet in Hyderabad last night. He said the agenda of this election is reservations. He alleged that the BJP will cancel reservations if voted to power again and that is the reason why it is insisting on 400 plus seats. He claimed only the INDI Alliance can take forward the BC reservations issue.
 
 

BRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao held a roadshow in Mahabubbad last night when ECI served orders barring him from campaigning for 48 hours. He alleged that the ECI’s action was selective against him. Popularly known as KCR,  Mr Rao has been barred by ECI from campaigning for 48 hours for his derogatory remarks against Congress, thus violating the Model Code of Conduct.
