Delhi: 238 Nominations Found Valid After Scrutiny Of Nominations For Lok Sabha Elections

After the scrutiny of nominations for the Lok Sabha Elections in Delhi, 238 nominations were found valid. The last date for withdrawal of the candidature is May 9th. BJP has fielded its candidates in all seven parliamentary constituencies in Delhi, while Aam Aadmi Party’s candidates are in the fray of four Lok Sabha seats – East Delhi, New Delhi West Delhi and South Delhi seat.
 
Congress is contesting elections for three Lok Sabha seats: North East Delhi, Chandni Chowk, and North West Delhi. Congress and AAP are in alliance in Delhi. All seven seats in Delhi will go to the polls during the sixth phase on the 25th of this month. The voting will take place on June 4.
