Delhi Capitals Defeated Rajasthan Royals By 20 Runs

In IPL cricket, the Delhi Capitals defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 20 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi last night. Batting first, Delhi set a formidable total of 221 for eight in the stipulated 20 overs. Abhishek Porel with an explosive 65 off 36 balls and Jake Fraser-McGurk with a quickfire 50 off just 20 deliveries led the charge for Delhi. In response, Rajasthan got off to a solid start, with skipper Sanju Samson leading the chase, scoring 86 off 46 balls.
 
However, Delhi bowlers restricted Rajasthan to 201 for eight in 20 overs. For Delhi, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar, and Khaleel Ahmed took two wickets each. With this victory, Delhi boosted their play-off hopes, moving to 5th in the points table, while Rajasthan remained second despite the defeat. Today, Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns with the Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
