National Testing Agency (NTA) has termed the reports claiming the leak of the NEET-UG 2024 question paper baseless. In a statement, NTA said, the social media posts pointing towards any paper leak are completely baseless and without any ground. It said that NEET (UG) 2024 was conducted successfully across four thousand 750 centres in 571 cities yesterday.
NTA said, there was one incident at a Centre of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan where some students forcibly took away the question paper before the conclusion of the examination. It said it is mischievous and preposterous that a picture of this question paper is being linked to an alleged incident of the paper leak. NTA clarified that all other photographs of the question paper circulating on social media have no relation to the actual examination question paper.
The NEET UG 2024 witnessed record registrations this year, with over 24 lakh students registered for the exam. NTA has advised the candidates, parents, and teachers not to pay heed to such rumours on forthcoming examinations.
