IMD Forecasts Heatwave Conditions In Various Parts Of Country During Next 2 Days

Heat wave conditions are very likely in some pockets over Gangetic West Bengal, Telangana, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu during the next two days.
 
India Meteorological Department said that similar conditions are likely to continue in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Saurashtra, Kutch and West Rajasthan till the next two to three days. Hot and humid weather is very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Konkan, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura during the next three to four days.

Meanwhile light to moderate rainfall accompanied with isolated thunderstorms is very likely over North East India during the next five days. IMD said that Similar conditions are also likely to continue in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh till tomorrow. In Delhi, IMD has forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunderstorms or duststorms accompanied by gusty winds. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius.
