Jaipur: An international lawn tennis player has become a victim of a honeytrap in Haryana. When the player was 17 years old, the girl called him to Jaipur and physically related him in the hotel room.
The girl and her journalist partner had been blackmailing the player by making a video of an illicit relationship. The player, who has been a victim of blackmailing for the last three years, told his family about this, and the matter came to the fore. On the complaint of the player’s mother, the Jaipur Police has registered a case against a journalist, four women, and one other person.
Hoping to earn money through coaching in Jaipur
The player’s mother has complained to the police at Ashok Nagar police station in Jaipur. According to the complaint, on June 23, 2018, his son met a young woman during the lawn championship in Karnal.
This young woman praised her son’s game and made him come to Jaipur on the pretext of earning good money through coaching. The girl also gave her mobile number to her son.
The player’s mother says that when her son reached Jaipur, a young woman had a physical relationship with him in the hotel room. The accused made a video of this illicit relationship.
Till now, lakhs of rupees had been grabbed by the blackmailer from the player.
According to the complaint, the accused had been blackmailing the player since then. Till now, they have recovered a huge amount from him. The accused used to threaten the player that they would make his video viral if he did not pay the money.
A journalist colleague of the girl and her other friends were also involved in threatening the player. The accused had deposited Rs 3 lakh from the player in different accounts. The player’s mother says that the accused used to call her son to Delhi, Manali, Shimla and do parties and get all the party bills filled by her son.
Case registered against four people in the case
According to the complaint, on July 23, the accused again threatened the player and demanded Rs 10 lakh from him. On the complaint of the player’s mother, the police have registered a case against journalist Karan Tiwari, four girls, and one other person.
