Nearly 100 Sri Lankan Administrative Service officers have attended capacity building programmes conducted by India’s National Centre for Good Governance. Speaking exclusively to our special correspondent, Secretary of Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, V Srinivas, said that the officers of Sri Lanka’s administrative services have attended training at NCGG at Mussoorie and Delhi. Mr. Srinivas added that the delegation, on a three-day Sri Lanka visit, led by him shared the Indian governance model of Viksit Bharat with Sri Lankan authorities. He added that the Sri Lankan authorities expressed interest in areas of digitisation. The delegation had interactions with officials from Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration and officers who had attended trainings at NCGG earlier. The Indian delegation also met Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Dinesh Gunawardena earlier today in addition to officials from Presidential secretariat and Prime Minister’s secretariat. The delegation will conclude its to Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
