The Prosecution announced today that a Kuwaiti national and an expatriate have been remanded in custody on charges of “erroneous killing” related to the fire that devastated an apartment building, resulting in 49 fatalities. The individuals face several charges, including causing death and injury by error, due to negligence of fire safety and security precautions. Investigations are ongoing, the prosecution confirmed. Additionally, a special team has inspected the fire scene and visited hospitals to question the injured, as stated by the prosecution.
