The International Day of Yoga celebrations have begun in Sri Lanka. A set of energizing curtain raiser events at SOS Children’s Village & Jaffna Teaching Hospital were held by Consulate General of India, Jaffna. The celebrations began in Hambantota last week when similar events were conducted by the Indian Consulate General in Hambantota on Friday. The High Commission of India will also hold events starting from 13th of June.
The International Day of Yoga will be held on 21st of June across the world with the theme of Yoga for Women Empowerment.
