Today, October 29, is the last date for withdrawal of candidature for Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. A total of 561 candidates have filed their nominations for 68 assembly constituencies. After scrutiny, 45 nominations were rejected. Voting for the assembly elections will be held on November 12, while the counting of votes will be taken up on December 8.
