In Tennis, India’s Ankita Raina bowed out of WTA Veneto Open tournament losing to Susan Bandecchi of Switzerland in the Women’s singles Quarter-final today. Ankita went down 4-6, 7-6, 3-6 at Gaiba in Italy. In the pre-quarterfinal, Ankita had defeated Irina Bara of Romania, 6-2, 2-6, 6-Nil.
The Veneto Open is a WTA 125- level professional women’s tennis tournament.
