STF, West Bengal Police has busted a terror module ‘Shahadat’, a branch organisation of the banned terrorist group active in Bangladesh Ansar Al Islam, which is said to be linked with international terrorist group Al Qaeda. The chief of the said organisation Muhammed Habibullah was arrested from Kanksa, Paschim Bardhaman last night. The militants in the group have been active in various sabotage activities in India and Bangladesh. The members of the group use a cryptic medium ‘BiP’ to communicate among themselves. The case has been filed against Md. Habibullah under UAPA and several clauses of IPC. His laptop is seized. He is a student of Computer Science. He has been sent to 14-day STF custody by Durgapur ACJM court.
