In Haryana, two young girls died while another got injured when a portion of a balcony in a temple collapsed in the Nanyola village of Ambala.
The deceased have been identified as 19 year old Manisha Devi and 18 years old Parminder Kaur from Punjab’s Tasalpur village. According to the police, a slab of the balcony collapsed which was put in the Devi Mandir complex about two months ago. The three girls who had come to the nearby institute were standing in the shade under the same slab of balcony to protect themselves from the hot weather. They were immediately taken to a nearby health centre where doctors declared the two brought dead.
The Police said, doctors suspect that the two girl students died due to head injuries, but the exact cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem examination. The injured student Simran has been admitted to the Trauma Centre of Civil Hospital in Ambala City. further investigation into the incident is on.
