Telangana Experiences Severe Heatwave Conditions; 18 Districts Record Temperatures Exceeding 46 Degrees Celsius

Telangana state is experiencing severe heatwave conditions, with at least 18 districts recording temperatures exceeding 46 Degrees Celsius yesterday, May 3. Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has issued heatwave alerts across various districts.
 
Peddapalli, Suryapet, Jagtial, and Khammam are experiencing extreme heat, with each district recording the highest maximum temperature of 46.7 degrees Celsius during the past 24 hours. Mancherial and Nalgonda districts recorded 46.6 degrees Celsius, and Karimnagar at 46.5 degrees Celsius. Telangana State Development Planning Society data has shown that other districts like Mahbubabad, Narayanpet, Jayashankar, and Warangal also reported extremely high temperatures above 46 degrees Celsius. Hyderabad has recorded an average maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius.
