Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has reiterated that NEET and other entrance examinations undermine the federal polity and the availability of doctors in deserving areas. In a statement on Friday, he has said that there is a need to restore the preeminence of State Governments and school education system’s role in determining criteria for professional course selection. Mr. Stalin pointed out issues such as question paper leaks, clustering of toppers at specific centres, award of marks which are mathematically impossible have raised doubts.
