Prem Singh Tamang was sworn in as Chief Minister of Sikkim for the second time, along with 11 Cabinet Ministers. The Cabinet Ministers sworn in today are Sonam Lama, Arunkumar Upreti, Samdup Lepcha, Bhim Hang Limboo, Bhojraj Rai, G. T. Dhungel, Puran Kumar Gurung, Pintso Namgyal Lepcha, Nar Bahadur Dahal, Raju Basnett, and Tshering Thendup Bhutia.
Sikkim Krantikari Morcha(SKM) President and its Legislature Party Leader Prem Singh Tamang has been sworn-in as Chief Minister of the State for the second time this afternoon at Paljor Stadium of state capital Gangtok. State Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered him oath of office and secrecy. The Governor also administered oath of office and secrecy to 11 Cabinet Ministers along with the Chief Minister. The Cabinet Ministers sworn-in today are Sonam Lama, Arunkumar Upreti, Samdup Lepcha, Bhim Hang Limboo, Bhojraj Rai, G. T. Dhungel, Puran Kumar Gurung, Pintso Namgyal Lepcha, Nar Bahadur Dahal, Raju Basnett and Tshering Thendup Bhutia. In a unique style, chanting of prayers by Budhist monks, singing hymns by Christian Choir group and vedic chanting by Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya as well as vedic chanting for peace, prosperity, happiness and well-being of the State were also significant features of today’s swearing-in ceremony
