Top leaders of all political parties are campaigning today in Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing a political gathering in Jalaun district, Samajwadi party president Akhilesh Yadav blamed BJP’s wrong policies for corruption and rising unemployment. He will also address a rally in Jhansi this afternoon.
Congress General secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also campaigning in Amethi today and addressing street gatherings.
BJP national president J P Nadda is also visiting Amethi. He will address a public meeting at Munshiganj in Amethi in support of BJP candidate and Union minister Smriti Irani who is pitted against Congress’s Kishori Lal Sharma.
In Lucknow, Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Rajnath Singh and UP CM Adityanath will address a public meeting.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is scheduled to hold a rally at Chauri Chaura near Gorakhpur. Mr. Kharge will hold another rally at Maharajganj.
