Successful Re-Polling Concludes In Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency

In Manipur, the re-polling at eleven Polling Stations of Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency concluded successfully today. The re-polling was conducted from 7 AM to 5 PM amidst tight security arrangements.
 
The voter turnout in the re-poll till 3 PM is 73.05 percent. Re-polling was held in seven Polling Stations of Imphal East district and four in Imphal West district today after the voting on April 19 in the first phase saw riots, violence and proxy voting. CEO Manipur submitted a report on the same to ECI.
 
Meanwhile, the election campaigning for the second phase of Lok Sabha Elections has intensified in Manipur. The polls for thirteen assembly segments of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency will be held on April 26.
