In Maharashtra, four college students from Mumbai died due to drowning in the Dharavi river in the nearby Raigad district. The incident took place last evening when a group of students went on a trip to Sondai Fort in the nearby Raigad district and then went to Dhavari River at Pokharwadi near Sondewadi village for a swim. One of the students stepped into the river and suddenly lost balance. Three students lost their lives while trying to rescue him as they too were pulled into the water. The group consisted of 37 students, including 22 male and 15 female students.
