In Madhya Pradesh, with the fourth phase of elections today, election process was completed on all 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state. More than 71.72 percent polling recorded in the fourth phase in the state.
In the fourth phase, a total of more than 1 crore 63 lakh voters decided the fate of 74 candidates. The highest 75.79 percent polling was recorded in Khargaun while the lowest turnout of 60.53 percent was recorded in Indore.
Akashwani Correspondent reports In Madhya Pradesh, voting was completed peacefully everywhere today. There has been no news of any untoward incident from anywhere. The maximum voting took place in the fourth phase only. With the fourth phase, the process of voting on all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh was also completed today. In Madhya Pradesh, voting was held on six seats each in the first and second phase, nine seats in the third phase and eight seats in the fourth phase.
Overall, the fate of 369 candidates on all 29 seats of Madhya Pradesh has been sealed in EVM. Today, the fate of 74 candidates including 5 women was decided in the fourth phase.
Prominent candidates in this phase include Shankar Lalwani, Kantilal Bhuria, Dnyaneshwar Patil, Sudhir Gupta and Anil Firoziya. Now, with the counting of votes on all these seats on June 4, it will be decided as to how much trust the public has shown to which party in the state.
